Meet our pilot: Ed Dablin

ED Dablin

Ed Dablin took up flying in 1998 when he obtained his PPL at Turweston. Shortly thereafter, he trained in California for his FAA airman certificate and Instrument Rating.

After returning to the UK he learnt aerobatics in a Slingsby T67 and holds an EASA aerobatic rating. More recently he obtained his EASA multi-engine IR .

Ed likes to own and fly older aircraft such as his 1952 Cessna 170 and a 1964 Beech Baron which he shares with Bill Tollett.
Having retired from a career in international commodities trading, Ed has more time to devote to his love of aviation.

Flying a Beech 18 across the world is his dream come true
